Without education, there is no future, therefore its importance is unquestionable. Education policy is facing challanges continuously. Naturally, different solutions are existing, but not all of them are profitable for the next generation. What can we do when the future of education is not treated properly? A lifelong educator, Dr. Kevin Roberts, the president of Heritage Foundation, is going to present his ideas.

JOHN O’SULLIVAN is President and founder of the Danube Institute in Budapest, international editor of Quadrant Magazine in Sydney, Australia; associate editor of the Hungarian Review; a fellow of the National Review Institute and editor at large of National Review. He is a co-founder and director of Twenty-First Century Initiatives, as well as the International Reagan Thatcher Society.
He served as a Special Adviser and speechwriter to Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher. He was the founder and co-chairman of the New Atlantic Initiative, launched at the Congress of Prague in May 1996 by President Vaclav Havel and Lady Thatcher. It played a major role in bringing the countries of Central and Eastern Europe into NATO. His book, "The President, the Pope, and the Prime Minister," on the roles played by Pope John Paul II, President Reagan and Prime Minister Thatcher in the collapse of communism and the revival of Western market democracies, has been published in English, Portuguese, Spanish, Czech, Polish, Italian, and Hungarian.
DR. KEVIN ROBERTS was named president of The Heritage Foundation in October 2021. He succeeded former Heritage President Kay C. James as the seventh president of the organization’s 49-year history. He previously served as the chief executive officer of the Texas Public Policy Foundation (TPPF), an Austin-based nonprofit, nonpartisan research institute and the largest state think tank in the nation. Under his leadership, TPPF more than doubled in size. He also expanded the Texas think tank’s influence nationwide, opening an office in Washington, D.C., so that TPPF research might better inform federal policy debates. A lifelong educator, he earned his Ph.D. in American history from the University of Texas. After several years of teaching history at the collegiate level, he in 2006 left the university to found John Paul the Great Academy, a co-ed, K-12 Catholic liberal arts school in Lafayette, Louisiana. He served as the academy’s president and headmaster for seven years. In 2013, he resigned from the academy to become president of Wyoming Catholic College. In addition to his doctorate, he holds a master’s degree in history from Virginia Tech and a bachelor’s degree in history from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. He and his wife have four children.
DR. GÁBOR CSEPREGI is currently a visiting scholar at St. Paul’s College, University of Manitoba, in Canada. He is past president of Université de Saint-Boniface (Winnipeg) and of Dominican University College (Ottawa). While devoting considerable time and energy to the fulfillment of his administrative duties, his academic career also focussed on intensive teaching and research activities. His scholarly works centered chiefly on the central questions of philosophical anthropology, especially on the phenomenological analysis of time, the human body, music, play, and education. His current project on the concept of presence is particularly relevant in a world that is marked by the tendency to fashion human perception and interaction through electronic devices. He is the author of The Clever Body and In Vivo: A Phenomenology of Life-Defining Moments. His latest book on Attitudes of Play will be published by McGill-Queen’s University Press in 2022. He received a Master’s degree in theology and a Doctoral degree in philosophy, both from Laval University (Quebec City). Before starting his academic career, he was an Olympic-level water-polo coach and player.

DR. KEVIN ROBERTS 2021 októberében lett kinevezve a Heritage Foundation elnökévé, Kay C. James korábbi elnököt váltotta, az alapítvány 49 éves történetében a hetedik elnök.
